Coffee and French books

I returned home from a sun drenched Ibiza last week to a very grey and rainy Birmingham. It's still pouring and I fear that the entire country might get washed away soon.
I'm currently hiding inside, drinking pots of coffee and flicking through Jeanne Damas' book. It was a Christmas gift off my sister a couple of years ago. At the time I didn't realise it was only published in French. I know a few words/phrases but I'm not fluent, unfortunately. Always take French in school. You never know when you'll need it.
"How was the book?" she asked a few weeks later.
"The photographs are glorious."
I hear it's now published in English. But I think I'll make it my mission to learn French.
Bisous.
